Description
Our house is located in Balatonboglár on a lakeside street. The area is quiet and peaceful. The beautiful Jankovich-telep free beach is just a 1-minute walk from the house (approximately 50 metres). The beach is characterised by a shady double row of plane trees, and the shallow waters of the southern Lake Balaton are perfect for children too.
Layout of the house:
Upon entering the house, guests are welcomed by a spacious, elegantly designed living room. The living room features a well-equipped open-plan kitchen. On the ground floor there is also a bathroom with shower, a double bedroom, and a passthrough room leading to the back garden. A staircase from the living room leads up to the first floor, where two further bedrooms are located. Both bedrooms have double beds. One of the bedrooms has a balcony overlooking Lake Balaton. On the upper floor, there is a bathroom between the two bedrooms.
Garden:
The house has both a front and a back terrace. The back garden is fully fenced and surrounded by bushes on all sides, so guests can relax in complete privacy. Sun loungers and a hammock in the garden are there to help you unwind. At the back of the garden there is a grill terrace with its own fireplace and barbecue, where you can also cook in a cauldron.
Furnishings:
Both upstairs bedrooms have armchairs, a table, a reading lamp and an air conditioner, and all three bedrooms have built-in wardrobes, allergy-free bedding and towels. The living room features a smart TV and an air conditioner that can both cool and heat — so we welcome guests in the early spring and late autumn months too! The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances (dishwasher, oven, ceramic hob, microwave, coffee maker, large fridge, kettle). The bathroom has a washing machine and a hairdryer. For little ones we provide a portable cot, high chair, baby bathtub, toilet seat reducer, a small swing in the garden, a ride-on motorbike and a tricycle. The house has safes, and the windows have shutters and mosquito nets. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the house.

Important information:
- The house comfortably accommodates 6+1 people (+1 child).
- For health reasons the house is non-smoking and no pets are allowed.
- A 30% deposit is required at the time of booking.
- A security deposit (equivalent to one night's rate) is required upon arrival, which will be refunded after departure.
- Tourist tax (IFA) must be paid on site in cash by guests aged 18 and over.
- Check-in: from 15:00. Check-out: by 09:00.
- SZÉP card accepted.
- Transfer between the train station and our house is available on request.
- Every guest receives a welcome gift of a fruit basket, mineral water and Balaton wine upon arrival!

FAQ
A written request is required specifying the dates, prices, and the number and ages of guests. You can reach us by email, via the message button on our Facebook page, or by phone.
After accepting the quote, we will send you the bank details for the 30% deposit. Once the transfer is complete, we will issue an invoice in the name and address provided by the guest.
After registering your ID cards and address cards, the accommodation fee must be paid in cash, by bank transfer, or by SZÉP card. Please note that the security deposit and the tourist tax cannot be paid by SZÉP card.
A heated towel rail ensures warmth on cooler days. Every guest receives a large bath towel and small hand towels, as well as liquid soap and an adequate supply of toilet paper. Additional amenities include a hairdryer, a washing machine, and a dryer. Guests are responsible for bringing their own beach supplies.
In addition to the standard equipment, our kitchen is fitted with two sets of crockery (cutlery, plates, etc.), a dishwasher, a fan-assisted oven, a ceramic hob, a microwave, a large fridge, a coffee maker, a kettle, a toaster, a food processor, and a hand blender. Dishwasher tablets are provided for every day of your stay; all necessities for hand washing are also available, including one roll of kitchen paper.
Indoors: portable cot (weight-dependent), baby bath, step stool, toilet reducer, high chairs, children's plates and cups. Outdoors: Chicco swing (weight-dependent), seesaw, small tricycle, small ride-on toy.
Yes, every window and door in the house is fitted with roller shutters.
The back garden and terrace are completely private and peaceful, perfect for relaxing on sun loungers, playing with children, dining together, and cooking. You can choose between a Weber gas grill and a wood-fired cauldron/grill. The fruit from our trees is also there for you to enjoy! The front terrace greets you with views of Lake Balaton alongside your morning coffee.
Yes. We are happy to fulfil requests agreed in advance. A welcome package is provided for all guests.
Yes, a free transfer is available from Balatonboglár bus or train station. For transfers from further away, arrangements can be made upon request.
Nearby: The beach has a sandpit for children, and there is a playground not far from the house. The large playground (approx. 200 m away) features a slide, swings, sandpit, table tennis, basketball court, and teqball table. There is also open space for football and badminton. A snack bar, ice cream shop, smaller playground, and the Dutra Museum are also within easy reach. Further afield: Tennis courts, swimming pool, bobsleigh track, Sphere Lookout, Blue and Red Chapels, Alfa indoor play centre, Spar, Tesco, laundromat, restaurants, snack bars, ice cream shops, and more.
